

The Vyne Theatre is delighted to welcome dancers from some of the country’s most prestigious ballet schools, as participants in the Ballet Vyne Gala Season. The Two ballet legends and international stars, Sarah Wildor (Royal Ballet) and Javier Torres (Northern Ballet), will teach the Ballet Vyne company dancers in a 2 hour intensive class which will be open to the general public as part of our Summer Gala Week.
Sarah Wildor is an internationally renowned former principal dancer of the Royal Ballet, Actress and multi talented performer with extensive coaching experience. As a close collaborator and mentor for the Vyne Academy’s Developing Dancer Programme, Sarah provides a unique insight into the realities of performing at the highest level, imparting her unique teaching skills to talented new stars of the future.
Sarah’s Masterclass marks the launch of 2 weeks of intense classes and rehearsals culminating in the Ballet Vyne company’s annual matinee and evening Gala Performances on Saturday 6th September
Tickets holders of Masterclass and Gala events are invited to a special VIP pre show drinks reception on 6th Sept in the Vyne Bar prior to the performance.
Javier Torres, is an internationally renowned principal dancer originally from Cuba, who is now Artistic Director of Carlos Acosta’s Foundation for professional ballet training. As a close collaborator and mentor for the Vyne Academy’s Developing Dancer Programme, Javier is committed to expanding vocational training and supporting young dancers in their quest for careers on the Stage.
This exceptional event is open to the public offering a direct insight into training methods and coaching techniques from Cuba’s famous Ballet tradition. The Masterclass marks the middle Saturday between two weeks of intense classes and rehearsals culminating in the matinee and evening Gala Performances on Saturday 6th September
